I feel so freaking disgusting.  I’m super bloated and I had stomach aches all day.

went to dinner with the family at a buffet. they love buffets haha.  was kind of sad because they had very limited sushi as compared to the other location. I prefer Todai  for a buffet.  But I can’t even think of buffets right now…tomorrow night is a distant relative’s wedding/engagement dinner and I’m going because it’s something to do rather being home alone again, but I’m scared I’m going to feel even worse after I eat.  Sigh.

alright I’m just going to post these first before I start my discussion for developmental psych.  I have 2.5 hours until submission >_<

got my hair colored dark brown.  I think I will keep it, my natural color is very very close to it.  won’t have to dye my hair again!

bf took me out to dinner then we went to get lottery tickets, since earlier today one place had a 2 hour long line and another place had a broken machine…

mmmmm udon.   It’s been a while since I’ve been back to Miyako.  It’s a small place inside the Corporate Park plaza, I don’t think it gets much business other than the ‘corporates’ and other employees during lunch hours.  Not that far from Diamond Jamboree but DJ gets way more visitors. 

I also had the Toyota Roll- spicy tuna with mango and avocado on top.  Bf got chicken terriyaki plate and rainbow roll.

I liked the piece of pink fish on top.  I can’t believe I’m having a total sushi noob moment but what kind of fish is that???

okay so I’ve been a little whiny today, but it hasn’t been so kind to me since this morning.  not really going to recap. okay maybe just a little, those darn movers at 8AM!!!!!!!!!! I know trying to carry a couch from the third floor is not an easy task, but was there a need for so much noise?  It almost sounded like they were having sex.  Hate sex.  Anyway, the day is starting to look up though because I opened the fridge and saw food!!!  Totally forgot I spent hours going from market to market yesterday for grocery shopping.  Now that I’ve got some kimchi and tofu in my stomach, I feel much more alive.  I have a hair appointment at 3:00, let’s see how they’re going to salvage it.  I recorded a video earlier from my phone to prove how damaged my ends are.  You can definitely hear the crisp sound of the crunchiness when I squeeze the ends.  Terrible.  Hopefully it won’t take too long, because before I go out tonight I need to post on my class discussion forum and if it’s anything like the past weeks, it’ll definitely be like a mini research paper. Sigh.

I’m splitting some mega millions tickets with my bf, $5 each.  even if I only win half I’ll still donate, because I would have the means to.

besides that, I’d like to buy a house for my mom, invest in some properties, dabble a bit in the stock market, travel, fine dining every day.  probably not shopping sprees…i’ll burn through money like nothing.

taken in March 2007…i miss the days when i had healthy hair.  dark colors look nice on me, I don’t know why I always insist on going for vibrant light colors, they don’t compliment my skin tone. Maybe soft light colors would be better.  I want my youth back!  Why must I have to worry about age spots, wrinkles and enlarged pores!?!  I sure don’t miss that nose piercing though.

too many sweaters I’ve been seeing around are vintage, which means I won’t be able to find them.  i’ll settle for look-alikes, if I can just figure out where to look.  I really want some pretty pastel shades, my favorites are mint(like the one seen in this photo of Jenny), pink, and cream.

That second exam stressed me out.  i have pimples.  i have freaking pimples! pretty rare, but it happens.  damn it.

Two more exams to go, can’t wait until June (minus the stupid hot weather)… going to job hunt to make xxxtra money this summer.  It’s going to be temp/seasonal so I don’t really care where, as long as it’s not McDonald’s and the like.  Going back to full-time units in August (if the stupid request gets approved by admissions in time).  Don’t really care what my major is at this point, just whatever gets me in UCI.  I’m thinking of declaring it international studies or maybe environmental studies, and then I’ll change it to something more fitting after I transfer.  I’m pretty sure with any degree I obtain, I’d still just be selling stuff online hahahaha.  My dream is to work from home & spend all day with my kids.

One of my bf’s customers came knocking on the door this afternoon.  it was the first time something like that happened, and at first we were reluctant to answer it but he kept coming back.  so the story is he’s a truck driver from Florida and just happened to be in California, rented a car and drove here to our apartment because he wasn’t able to contact my bf.  supposedly he doesn’t know how to use email and he called the business phone but no one picked up because bf turned it on silent lol….. anyway he came all the way here to say that he loved the motorcycle parts he received from us and he wanted to buy more for an upcoming bike show.  How nice.  shame on me for thinking he was a thug.  What else was I suppose to think? we don’t get many visitors if at all…

of course that wasn’t the only reason. she needed me to cash out a check from MetLife, I don’t really know why it was in my name but it’s 2k and she needed it to pay off bills or something.  i was dumbfounded when she told me she has no extra money laying around or any savings, so basically nothing in her bank account either and she lives off check by check from work…  it’s made me realize all my bad habits were inherited from her… it’s a scary thought.

I think we’re going to make it a tradition to have dimsum every Saturday afternoon.  Most likely.  I think my favorite item is the shrimp inside rice noodle with special soy sauce poured on top, and har gao.  Not a fan of shiu mai.  Lucky it was only a 15 minute wait today.  Had to stop by Target to grab a birthday present for cousin Dylan who’s turning 8…. kids grow up so fast. oh noo!

had the craving for Japanese so I suggested we try Fukada since there are such good reviews, and I wasn’t disappointed.  Bf usually gets sushi but he opted for seafood salad and chicken something don, and I got sansai udon with agedashi tofu as an appetizer.  I loooooved the sansai udon so much, the mountain vegetables were delicious.  They don’t skimp on portions, my bowl was huge and I left the restaurant extremely full, but since he got salad he wasn’t as full and so we went to Yogurtland at UTC, then I stopped by the Tokyo Lifestyle store to pick up some Biore pore strips & oggle at Rilakkuma stuff….  next time we’re going to try Salad Republic. he’d probably not love it as much but I’m a sucker for seared ahi salad.

I finished Ring Ring Bell / Real Love Please Ring The Bell Twice !!!!!!!

I guess it’s good, because now I can focus on my second exam on Tuesday.  Feeling sad that it’s over though, want to stay in the fantasy a little longer haha.  I love Janine Chang!  Peter Ho is probably the only guy taller than her when she’s in heels.  I can’t believe her character’s suppose to be “ugly” and haggard, at least put some effort into making her look that way lol but throughout the whole drama she looked nothing but gorgeous.  A lot of kissing, which I prefer because I like when the main characters have chemistry and can portray their affections passionately.  Chaste kissing is a total bore!

i honestly despise mcdonald’s. if i ever have to get fast food, i’d go taco bell or burger king and after that whole “pink chicken” ordeal, I almost want to gag every time I hear chicken nuggets or chicken sandwiches… but bf insisted they use real chicken now!  these mcnuggets are good with the bbq and the new buffalo sauce, but if i have to eat them again….
