looking back, I put so much heart into you. all I got was a bunch of messed up memories of the countless times you would put me last after everything and everyone else. I forget why I even gave us a second chance, but the fact that it didn’t work out again only gave me closure and clarity as to why it didn’t in the first place. you never accepted me for who I was and I even tried to change for you but it wasn’t worth it, it never is. now I’m with someone who doesn’t ask me to change, I can be just as I am. never again will I allow someone to make feel like I’m not worthy.
