Went to The Red Pot in Garden Grove for dinner. 5 freeway had mad traffic but we couldn’t find a way through local so had to take the 55 to the 22, luckily traffic wasn’t bad. Made it there at 6:25 and there was no wait. I hear raves about this place and it’s nice for AYCE but I would be fully satisfied at Jazz Cat without AYCE because their broths are better and there’s goma/sesame sauce! The miso broth from Red Pot was too salty, and their sauces were strange. Service was impeccable though and the unlimited meats, seafood, and vegetables were great. I do recommend this place if you really want to stuff yourself. I’m just too picky and would rather settle for non-ayce in order to satisfy my tastes.
