my grandma got me into watching Schemes of a Beauty aka Mei Ren Xin Ji
it’s so addictive and intense. I used to hate historical dramas of any kind but this one is poetic, romantic, and even comedic at times.
Ruby Lin plays the main character and I was super obsessed with her when I was younger, over 10 years ago. She hasn’t aged one bit and even looks better I think. I haven’t watched her in anything for a while so this one doesn’t disappoint.
I really need to hang out with people of my own age other than kids and elders… but not that many people are that cool!
